Mr. Giustra holds an Economics degree from the University of Western Ontario. His experience in public markets began during his employment in the Investor Relations Department of the Barrington Communication Group Inc., a Vancouver based public relations firm. He later joined the national firm of Jones Gable & Company Ltd., in the capacity of Registered Representative. In 1994, he joined Whalen Beliveau & Associates Inc., as an institutional securities broker where he co-founded the Institutional Group, which during his tenure raised more than $84 million in the form of venture capital equity financing for public companies in diverse industries, of which $68 million was for junior mining companies. Since 1997, Mr. Giustra has been actively engaged in the creation, development, restructuring and management of publicly-traded junior mining companies.
