Mill Canyon Property
The Mill Canyon Property consists of two mineral claims, covering approximately 41 acres, located in Lander County, Nevada, about 16 kilometers northwest of Barrick's 25M oz. Pipeline Gold Mine Complex. Drilling and geochemical surveys on the claims and the surrounding area were performed by Interaction Resources, Uranerz and Hecla, in 1987, 1994 and 1995. Soil gold, arsenic, and mercury anomalies (gold to 288 ppb in soil) were located along structures both in the Upper Plate rocks and in altered Lower Plate, tentatively identified as Roberts Mountain Formation. Several holes encountered anomalous gold whereby the best drill result was 20 feet of 0.016 opt Au drilled by Interaction Resources. The claim area is one of intense exploration activity, with all of the surrounding land held by Newmont and Barrick (Placer Dome originally).
