White Canyon Property
The White Canyon Property is located in the historic Beowawe Mining District, located midway between the towns of Carlin and Battle Mountain in Eureka County, Nevada. The property is subject to a mineral lease with Allied Nevada Gold Corp., providing for annual cash payments to Columbus and a net smelter returns royalty of 3%.
Geology
The claims cover a range front fault, containing anomalous gold and pathfinder elements in quartz veins up to 6 metres (20 ft) thick, extending several kilometres northeasterly from the Beowawe geothermal field.
Past Work
Columbus Gold has completed prospecting, geologic mapping and geochemical rock chip sampling on the property.
Planned Work
Columbus is actively seeking a joint venture partner for the White Canyon Property.
