The Winnemucca Mountain Property consists of 27 mineral claims, covering approximately 558 acres, located on the lower east flank of Winnemucca Mountain in Humboldt County, Nevada. The property covers a large, north-trending zone of quartz-carbonate stockwork veining in Triassic sediments containing extensive low grade gold mineralization. Widely-spaced drill holes by Santa Fe and others between 1985 and 1992 traced associated gold mineralization along the zone, with values to 0.86 gpt Au along 29 meters and 0.34 gpt Au along 72 meters, for a strike length of nearly one kilometer and to a depth of up to 180 meters. The geological environment and indicated gold grades at Winnemucca Mountain are similar to those characterizing the nearby Florida Canyon Mine which was discovered by Cordex in the 1970's. Florida Canyon produced over 2 million ounces of gold from a heap leach operation from 1986 to 2005.
