Combs Peak Property

The Combs Peak Property

The Combs Peak Property is located on the prolific Battle Mountain Gold Trend of Nevada, approximately 16 km (10 miles) southwest of Eureka. The Project adjoins the southerly margin of the Rose Mine property of Renaissance Gold.

The project is 100% controlled by Columbus Gold, Subject to underlying royalties.

The property covers an area of altered Devonian and Mississippian sedimentary rocks, where gold values ranging from nil to 9.4 g/t have been found in the initial sampling of float chips in covered areas near outcrops of silicified limestone breccia with abundant barite veining. The areas of anomalous float, with no outcrop, are interpreted to lie near the contact of Devonian limestone and overlying Mississippian siltstones, known to be a favourable host rock from Central Nevada gold mines such as Alligator Ridge and Rain. Geological mapping and preliminary sampling has been completed. Grid geochemical sampling is in progress to delineate drill targets.
